With different wine producers the reference conditions could be optimized due to the Euro-currency course, which the Park Hotel Weggis passes directly  to its guest. The pictorial park of our house was already able to WOW many a person. Now the second German television (ZDF) acquired a taste on it and will record two sequences of the popular autumn show “ZDF Herbstshow” on our property on September 21st and 22nd, 2011.
The charming host Andrea Kiewel and her team ensure a good mood and stars such as DJ Bobo, Baschi, Maite Kelly, Patrick Lindner, Ross Antony, Roberto Blanco plus many more will inspire you.

Since short the Park Hotel Weggis has a new caviar supplier. Great importance is attached also here to
sustainability.

All of the caviar varieties are obtained from farmed sturgeons and some are unique. The sturgeons are responsibly farmed to the highest environmental standards, which helps their long-term conservation. „The Caspian legacy – a tribute to the proud heritage of a family". This is what the Swiss family firm Zwyer stands for.

For years we have developed our ecological commitment continuously. With the continuation of the thought of sustainability the ISO system 14001 is currently getting compiled. A small however not insignificant adjustment is the conversion to a new recycling paper which suffice highest ecological requirements and which carries the seal of sustainability “blue angel”.

A sommelier of the same batch as Wolfgang Kneidinger arranges the wine-list, knows each wine personally and is aware of what the guest wants. He can lead the guest, if desired, and beside «Lafite» and «Sassicaia» he also holds ready discoveries for poor fellows.

On last Sunday the tenth Swiss hotel rating of the Sunday newspaper has taken place. The Park Hotel Weggis is again the best holiday hotel of Central Switzerland .

After 3 years of training at the wine academy Austria our sommelier Wolfgang Kneidinger has successfully passed the wine academic exam. Worldwide there are just above 300 wine academics. This graduation is also a qualification for a “Master of Wine” training enrolment – the Master of Wine is worldwide the most prestigious education in the wine industry.

For this top performance we cordially congratulate Wolfgang! We are cheerful and proud to have him in our team!

We are glad about the outstanding award of “Guide bleu”-gastronomy guide 2011. Restaurant Annex scored 94 out of 100 points which makes it to the best restaurant in the entire canton Lucerne. A big thank you to the Annex team!

Sensuous shooting with two Mister at our Park Hotel Weggis: On July 26th, the incumbent Mr. Swiss Jan Bühlman met his predecessor Renzo Blumenthal for the very first time. The two beaus posed for the Central Switzerland Company Elsa.

Ever since 2003 Park Hotel Weggis may praise itself as the best holiday resort in Central Switzerland. Accordingly great, is the pleasure that we got voted 8th place as the best holiday resort nationwide this year.
